Revcord is a local-first motorcycle maintenance tracker. Your data lives on your device and, when you use sync, is backed up to your private cloud account so it follows you to your other devices. Revcord does not use advertising SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores motorcycle details, maintenance records, fuel records, part records, reminders, insurance records, inspection records, notes, and photos locally on your device. Backup export files are created only when you choose to export them.

Accounts and Cloud Sync (Firebase)

To enable sync, the app creates an anonymous account automatically using Firebase Authentication. You may optionally link your account with email, Google, or Sign in with Apple to access your data on other devices. When sync is active, your records (maintenance, fuel, parts, reminders, insurance, inspection data, and app settings) are stored in Cloud Firestore under your account ID. Only you can access this data. If you never use sync features beyond the automatic anonymous account, your records still sync under that anonymous ID so they are not lost if your device is.

Analytics

Revcord uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous feature-usage events (for example, which screens are used) so we can improve the app. Analytics data is not linked to your identity, is not sold, and is not used for advertising.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Revcord Pro subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by the App Store. Payment details are handled by Apple and are never visible to us. The app reads your purchase status from the device's App Store account to unlock Pro features; no purchase data is sent to our servers.

Camera and Photo Library

On iOS and Android, the app may request access to your camera and photo library to scan fuel receipts using on-device OCR and to attach photos. Photos are processed and stored locally on your device and are never uploaded. You can decline camera access — manual entry remains available.

Notifications

The app uses local notifications to remind you of upcoming maintenance, insurance renewals, and inspection deadlines. These are scheduled entirely on your device. We do not use push notification servers or send remote notifications.

Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all synced data at any time directly in the app (Cloud Sync screen → Delete Account). This removes your cloud data, your account, and the data stored on the device. You can also sign out and reset your local data at any time. If you need help, contact us at the address below.

Children

Revcord is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
